RRB Photo & Signature Resizer

Railway Recruitment Board forms (NTPC, Group D, ALP, JE) commonly ask for a photo of 30–70 KB and a signature of 30–49 KB, both in JPG. PhotoSuvidha makes the photo 240 × 320 px and the signature 140 × 60 px.

These values come from widely used guides for recent CENs, not from the notice itself, so check the CEN you are applying for.

RRB: what to know

  • Both limits have a minimum. A file that is too small is rejected just like one that is too big.
  • Sign in black ink on white paper.
  • Your photo is used to check your identity at the exam centre, so use a recent photo that looks like you today.

How to resize your photo & signature for RRB

  1. 1Tap the button for the file you need. Its size, KB limit and format are already set for RRB.
  2. 2Take a photo or pick one from your gallery, then crop it.
  3. 3Download. If the file is outside the KB limit, the app tells you and fixes it in one tap.
  4. 4Come back for the next file. Each one is made separately.

Common mistakes

  • A busy or dark background. Stand in front of a plain, light wall, or use the background cleaner.
  • Face too small. Your head and shoulders should fill most of the photo.
  • A cap, dark glasses or strong shadows on the face.
  • Signing on lined, coloured or crumpled paper.
  • Lots of empty paper around the signature. Crop close so it stays readable.
