IBPS Photo, Signature, Thumb & Declaration Resizer

IBPS forms ask for four files: a photo, a signature, a left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration, each with its own size and KB limit. The values below are from the IBPS PO/MT-XV notice.

IBPS PO: what to know

  • Sign in black ink, in your running handwriting, not in CAPITAL letters.
  • Left thumb impression in black or blue ink on white paper.
  • Write the declaration in English, in your own handwriting. The text is shown on the declaration step.
  • The form also takes a live photo, so use a recent photo that looks like you today.

How to resize your photo & signature for IBPS PO

Common mistakes

  • A busy or dark background. Stand in front of a plain, light wall, or use the background cleaner.
  • Face too small. Your head and shoulders should fill most of the photo.
  • A cap, dark glasses or strong shadows on the face.
  • Signing on lined, coloured or crumpled paper.
  • Lots of empty paper around the signature. Crop close so it stays readable.

What is the IBPS PO signature size?

IBPS PO asks for the signature as a JPG file of 10–20 KB, sized 140 × 60 px.

Is the IBPS signature allowed in capital letters?

No. IBPS asks for your running signature; a signature in capital letters is not accepted.

Can I use the same files for IBPS PO and Clerk?

They have used the same sizes so far. Check the notice for each exam, as IBPS can change them.

Is my photo uploaded or stored anywhere?
